Sorry, coming to the list after a long time. There seems to be an ongoing issue regarding alarm not going off. The solution is in the settings, accessibility, face ID setting, the final setting you have to find is relating to attention. And turn that option off. Sorry, I don’t remember exact wording for the setting because I don’t use face ID. But it is a known issue with alarm on phones with face ID and when the setting for monitoring your attention level. Is on.
