Hi Alan, I've been facing the same issue for a long time. I wonder if others have a solution. In the meantime, here is my workaround. When you delete a message, swipe right already without waiting for VO to re-focus on the next message. That way my focus has always been up to date. I also delete a hundred or so messages a day, but it could also be that this doesn't work for you either because the number of emails coming in is more than mine. Let us know if that's the case, because then only someone with the same volume of incoming mail could experiment and help. HTH.
