I know you don't doubt me but I have my phone app open as I write.
I too think it's odd indeed now that a it had been brought to my
attention, otherwise I would have continued to think that it was just
Apple.
Perhaps things are different in this part of the world but our phones
here though generally are as you write.

You might want to call Apple Accessibility Support and have them view
your phone. I don’t have the number from Ireland, but if you can’t

The phone app in which the keypad is contained the numbers are
vertical I'm afraid, 1 all the way down to hash.
I would like to have this as a normal phone keypad, something like
three digits one towwo three at top and 4 5 6 beneath and so on.
Remember the old nokia set up or those house phones?

app where the digits are, they are in vertical form.
Someone told me that I need to change trthat vertical setting
in the rotor setting but can't see a way of so doing |I'm afraid.
