Maybe Verizon is better than some at stopping those calls, I don't get many of them any more. Or, maybe it is that I simply don't answer the call if I don't recognize the number or it says the contact name, unless I am expecting a call whose number I may not recognize. I figured that the telemarketing systems would catch onto the fact that I never answered their calls and would delete my number after a while. If it is a legitimate call, let them leave a voice mail and I will call back.
