I remember the Talks days well the user’s group and blindsea site. There are a couple of things I would say, when selecting the string you want to replace it’s often useful to use the Copy Last Spoken output to insert as your string, saves some typing!
I wish under verbosity you could configure which apps and screen areas hints are spoken in. The dictionary is useful though I remember the Calendar in Symbian and creating strings and replacements to have UK dates spoken more correctly.
