Hi, I don't know if this suggestion will help or not, but what do you have to lose? Turn the rotor & make sure that "Describe Images" is turned on. If this feature is not in the rotor, go to settings, accessibility, voiceover & swipe down to rotor & add it. It is my experience that in some cases screen shots & images with text will be read by voiceover if the feature is on.
