I've seen a couple of references to September 20 for iOS, iPadOS and WatchOS releases. I too will be hanging onto my older Apple gear, which is an iPhone 11 and Apple Watch Series 6. My upgrade date for the iPhone is February of next year, which is nearly halfway through the September release cycle, so I may as well wait until next Fall to update. I used to be one of those update every year crew, and then it turned into update to last year's model each year. Hopefully next year's Apple Watch will include the long rumored blood glucose sensor. My wife has an iPhone XR, and has been chomping at the bit to get her hands on a purple iPhone 12. She doesn't care about the new bells and whistles. She just wants a purple phone. She also has my old Series 4 watch. So aside from her purple phone, there's no new Apple hardware for us. I am eagerly awaiting iOS 15 and trying out some of the features and enhancements.
