Hi Paula, Under settings General, Software and updates, Then go to the very bottom of that screen and there should be an automatic updates button, Under that button there is a number of tick boxes that you need to untick if you want the updates to stop showing
Note this isn't a sensible thing to do as updates should be installed to correct security issues which are in current operating system versions.
