Hi Jeff, I went to the site and it says a new member would pay $25 for the first month then $40 after that and your speeds maybe throttles down at times. Here below is what it says on the sight.

On Consumer Cellular you can get unlimited talk and text with 3 gig of data for $30 a month. You can also get 250 talk minutes with unlimited text and 500 mb of data for $20 a month. If you go over they move you up to the next level for no extra charge. Then you can move it down again the next month. Their app is totally accessible. Give them a call as they have the number one best tech support and they can tell you all about it. I have been with them for years.
