Alan, thanks for pricing info re verizon. Like you, I use their prepaid plans with autopay. I thought I had a good deal with 6 gb data and unlimited calling and texting for around $35.00.

They have currently lowered the price of these plans and you can get 5GB of data with unlimited talk and texting for $30 a month. If you set your account up with autopay, you get an additional discount of $5 per month bringing the total to $25 per month. They have recently introduced a loyalty discount if you have a prepaid plan which costs $40 or more per month. With this loyalty discount, your price is reduced an additional $5 per month after you've submitted three payments and an additional $5 per month for a total loyalty discount of $10 per month after nine payments. Their 15GB prepaid plan has recently been reduced to $40 per month so with the loyalty discount in full effect along with the autopay discount, you can get 15GB of data with unlimited talk and text for $25 per month. After the first month, which inclujded a set up fee of $10 or so, it is $30.30 for unlimited calls and text, and 1GB of data even though the rep said it would be 500 MB. I personally use Visible.com. Go to their website and they only offer one plan and it is described very clearly. Also read reviews to make sure you can live with the very slight drawbacks. I love the service and only pay $25 monthly for unlimited calls, text, data and hotspot. It uses the Verizon network.
