If you notice significant battery drain, you can try putting the phone in low power mode while listening. You can do this through settings or with seri by asking seri to turn on low power mode. You can turn it off again by telling seri to turn off low power mode. I have done this with apps like I heart radio which is a major battery drainer. the difference in battery drainage was immediately noticeable. So you could try this method.
