I just looked and the metronome I have is called Tempo Perfect and it is still on the app store.
It has 3 poorly labeled adjustments. Set the first to 60 and the other two to 0 and you’ve got a beat every second. After I listen for a while, I get pretty good at being able to count it myself. Thanks to Ed Potter, he stated in one of the Playback issues that the most accurate way he had found to count seconds was to say 1 mississippi, 2 mississippi, and so on. Hey, I warned you that this is a work around until you can do better.
