If I had to do all my word processing on an iDevice I would go crazy and if I had to use Excel on an iDevice as well I'd probably shoot myself.

However, it only edits txt files, but you can export as RTF, Word, and others. But, you cannot edit Word documents, or anything that isn't plain text. I'd recommend reading up on its features. Frankly, if you need to edit word or RTF files, I'd stick with a computer, since none of the apps work that well with VoiceOver that will allow editing of those file types.
