I do Bookshare books all the time on my BrailleNote, which has an SD card for external memory. I bought a card reader that plus into the computer’s unzip the book and put it on the SD card, then you should be able to read it on the Braille Edge. Ditto with BARD’s .brf Braille book. Or do you have to somehow download those to an SD card on your computer, then put that in the edge and go from there? I kind of like the idea of this new device anyway, because the keys are like what you would see on a regular computer keyboard, rather than special keys that they put on the edge or whatever device to mimic that functionality. The current Braille Edge bluetooth is quite solid. But, it can only pair with one device, though it works fine via USB with a Windows computer and I'm sure would also work via usb with a Mac. The memory is an SD card, so you could put all the books you want on an SD card and read them on the Braille Edge. The notetaker function is very, very basic but can be set to txt files so they can easily be read on a computer. The keys and braille feel good to my touch. The keyboard is very quiet.
