I have the braille edge at work. I have not seen the latest Focus 40. I am very interested in seeing the Q Braille, which I gather has essentially the same form factor as the braille edge, with the addition of the function keys and a few more so it really can be used as an braille keyboard for a computer. The current Braille Edge bluetooth is quite solid. But, it can only pair with one device, though it works fine via USB with a Windows computer and I'm sure would also work via usb with a Mac. The memory is an SD card, so you could put all the books you want on an SD card and read them on the Braille Edge. The notetaker function is very, very basic but can be set to txt files so they can easily be read on a computer. The keys and braille feel good to my touch. The keyboard is very quiet. Later, Richard
