I just talked to apple sales department. I asked them, if the apple watch series 2 has gps antenna, so I don't need my phone around to know where am I?
They said, yes, you don't need to have your iPhone around to use the gps capabilities. I asked them, ok, if I don't need my iPhone around to use the gps capabilities, I will be able to use maps and for example get the way to somewhere just typing an address? They said, no, to be able to do that you need to get your phone. I said, so I don't understand. What is the reason of that gps antenna then? You said that I don't need my iPhone to use the gps capabilities, but you are saying now that if I want to go to a store, I need my phone to tell to maps the address and start the way ? So for what reason I want a iWathch with gps antenna? They couldn't answer my question. So really, and I want to think that this lady wasn't very aware about the apple watch . What are the usability of a gps antenna in a apple watch ? Thanks guys, -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
