No worries for helping. Something definitely sounds a bit messed
up in there. Before giving up, I'd try restoring through iTunes,
if you are able to do it.

Hi, the moment I turned VoiceOver on at the set up screen it said
Springboard. Apple Care over the phone wasn't concerned about
this. I went ahead and went to the Apple store and talked with
them. They reset it one more time. This time without starting
Voiceover right away.
The only thing in text replacement was on my way. Twenty minutes
later though, a few more things automatically reappeared. Maybe
text replacement is tied into iCloud?
I'm not sure. My plan for now, is use my phone as usual for the
next Month and see how it goes. If it continues to act up, I
think it may be time for a replacement. :) I just want this
taken care of while inside the year warranty.

I have an jailbroke my phone, but it sure sounds like it doesn't
it? :-)
I don't believe I have downloaded any third-party apps.
I tried to reset it one more time, that's when I noticed the
keyboard text replacements.

Subject: Not convinced iPhone restored correctly
Hi all, my iPhone woes continue.
I have erased my iPhone and reset it. I set it up as a new
device and used it for the day. I have this sense that it is not
fully restored or maybe it is corrupted hardware. Two things
that stand out for me are:
1. When I was at the set up screen and turned VoiceOver on, it
said spring board. This is weird, yes?
2. When I looked under settings/general/keybaords, text
replacement, there were 3 sitting there. A Merry Christmas
message, and tonight and tomorrow.. These are not Apple defaults
nor do they completely match what's on my iPad.
What are your thoughts about all this? Any suggestions?
