I agree completely with Anna! You can Google on how to get the most out
of a lithium ion battery, and you'll learn that shallow charges are the
best for the battery. Let it get down to 40% or 50% remaining and then
bring it up to 80% or 90%. This is just a best practice though, and it
doesn't mean that you're battery will die an early death if you don't
follow this practice. Batteries are meant to be used, so use them when
you need to and charge them when you can. These aren't like NiCad
batteries where you wanted to let them run down before you charged them
to avoid the memory affect. Also, charging them up completely doesn't
hurt them since your phone will go into a trickle charge before the
battery is fully charged. LI batteries will be damaged if you let them
run all the way down, but your phone will keep this from happening
during normal usage, i.e. the phone will shut down while there's still a
charge in the battery. This does mean you want to top of your charge if
you're going to be storing your phone for more than a day or two. You
also want to avoid heat for any length of time, but unlike NiCad
batteries, you don't need to refrigerate them to help preserve their life.

Hi Fazil,
Occasionally it's good to let the battery get really low and charge it
all the way, to help the phone calibrate the battery correctly. Most of
the time, though, you don't have to worry about it. Charge when you
like, and stop charging when it's convenient. If you have iCloud backup
turned on, it's a good idea to make sure it's plugged in for a few hours
every 24 hours or so, such as plugging it in overnight, so the backups
can happen, but otherwise, it doesn't matter when or how much you
charge. That's my understanding, anyway,
Best,
Anna
