Isometimes get this on my iPhone, too, try to ask SIRI to "Turn on battery saving mode" that usually seems to work better for me than asking to "Turn of low power mode". SIRI is supposed to understand natural language, but I find it unfortunate that in the last year or two you really have to be very specific in how you phrase your questions or commands. So far I also find that SIRI seems to be more stupid rather than more intelligent when I am asking her to dial contacts who actually are Contacts on my phone, she sometimes gets the most basic names wrong.

After reading the article that was posted, I went into settings battery on my iPhone 5s, and sure enough, at the top was a setting for low power mode that can be manually enabled. I then went to my iPod Touch 6, and look in the battery settings and there is no power mode setting. But, like I said, it seems to do it automatically when it gets down to 20%. Time will tell if that is a good thing or not on the touch. But, since it cuts performance, I'm glad it is a setting on the phone.
