Can you do me two favors? First, type your search anyway, even though you're getting error sounds--you are getting those sounds, right? Once you do, try searching and see what happens. Next, can you go to www.applevis.com and try to type into the search field on the main page? If my guess is right, the same thing will happen there that's happening on Bookshare.
