It works very well with its own labels. You can buy blank labels from them that stick on or label for clothing that can be sown into clothes. Nancy Miracle, who runs the company, has even hot-glued the clothing label to a reusable plastic container that could go through the dishwasher, and found that it still worked after about 50 times through the wash.
