No. Your changes can be merged automatically, since v7-4a is the child of v7-3-1314. I have a few changes too (in .hgignore and in src/feature.h), "hg fetch --switch-parent" merges them every time I pull new changes (and the way I wrote them, it's very rare that I have to do the merge by hand); they carried over from 7.3.1314 to 7.4a with no special action from me.

What's the command to clone vim74 again?

If you make a new clone, you'll have the full history of Vim 7.0000, 7.0a, ... 7.1, ... 7.2, ... 7.3, ... 7.4a.001, and none of your own changes.
