Hi eckes, You should tell about the completion function you're using. If you know that you can compare the completion code of both versions. Probbaly completion strategy has changed.
Eg try :echo &omnifunc or &completefunc then search for the text in the directory :echo $VIMRUNTIME This is probably the code which changed. Maybe someone else just has the solution.
