Hello, since upgrading to vim 7.3 (standard windows installer, built 2010 Aug 15), I'm experiencing that completion is really slow when using large files (e.g. C-source with 2700 lines). This becomes a real problem when using the ACP plugin 'cause it pops up it's completion suggestions automatically.
I have seen that the processor load of VIM goes up to 70% while scanning files for completion. Adjusting the 'complete' option has no effect since the source file alone is quite large. Does anyone else experience this problem? When searching stackoverflow, it get some results indicating the same problem, e.g.: http://tinyurl.com/36dczwp http://tinyurl.com/38jt648 -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist.
