ASRock generally has a good reputation for not breaking VT-d. Be aware
that any motherboard you buy with multiple PCIe x16 ports will have them
all in the same IOMMU group. x1 ports should be in individual IOMMU
groups, but some onboard peripherals will break that.

To reduce surprises, look for a motherboard with few or no third-party
controllers. That means Intel LAN, no extra SATA, a single x16 port,
etc. Old-style PCI slots can be a problem, but are usually disabled
unless you are using them.
