Interesting. It has happened that I have needed to do the power down procedure but in general the USB devices work or they do not... and those that do are consistent.
So I have to wonder... is it the chipset or is there something about the virtualized environment? Have any other chipsets proven to be more reliable? This is about the only issue I think I've had with the VM since I figured this iommu stuff out. I'm really really impressed.
