Handling hyphens in usernames in vpopmail

I have just finished the migration of our ISP to using qmail+vpopmail.  However today I found a list of users that have been recieving mail at addresses like [EMAIL PROTECTED].  I realize what the problem is but I am looking for some suggestions on workarounds that I can put into place for just these few customers.  I have already notified everyone that we cannot support this but I really need to continue to support the few customers that have been using the addresses.   I am using vpopmail-4.10.24 compiled with MySQL support.   Any suggestions on work arounds would be appreciated.   Thanks,   Joe Modjeski Systems Administrator CommSpeed
