More information about this error may be available in the server error log. in the log file of Apache iam getting like this [Mon Jun 11 22:04:38 2001] [alert] [client 201.44.117.114] /home/httpd/cgi-bin/v qadmin/.htaccess: deny not allowed here [Mon Jun 11 22:15:52 2001] [alert] [client 201.44.117.114] /home/httpd/cgi-bin/v qadmin/.htaccess: deny not allowed here then i have checked the permission of .httpaccess file 1 nobody   nobody        122 Jun 11 20:55 .htaccess    then i changed to permission to vpopmail:vchkpw and tried root:root i try to access the from browser iam getting the below problem Forbidden You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/vqadmin on this server. then i checked the log of apache looks like below [Mon Jun 11 22:18:45 2001] [crit] [client 201.44.117.114] (13)Permission denied:  /home/httpd/cgi-bin/vqadmin/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess f ile, ensure it is readable i tried lot of combinations no luck any help will appriciate. thanks in advance
