Update: Well, I've tried every suggestion I've recieved (and thank you
to everyone to responded, BTW), and no success. I've even changed the
script above to include the explicit paths to the qmail programs. I
downloaded the newset version of vpopmail (4.9.6-1), compiled both with
and without the MySQL options (both of those worked fine as far as
reading info (vuserinfo), adding new users, conversion, the works. The
users exist; I can deliver mail to them. The vchkpw program just doesn't
seem to want to recognize virtual domain passwords.
For the record, the latest configure parameters were:
--enable-mysql=y
--enable-sqlincdir=/usr/local/mysql/include
--enable-sqllibdir=/usr/local/mysql/lib
--enable-ucspi-tcp-dir=../ucspi-tcp-0.88
Compilation seems to have gone off without a hitch.
Is there something in the qmail install I'm missing? That $225 install
fee is looking better and better and I feel pretty dumb right now. :)
