Hi, tks for your help on this

I think the /var/qmail/users/assign and /var/qmail/users/cdb files are
where my problem is. Im confused on how these are suppose to work together
with /home/vpopmail/users! When i su root and run vadduser it updates the
/var/qmail/users/assign and /var/qmail/users/cdb files as well as the
/home/vpopmail/users/vpasswd and /home/vpopmail/users/vpasswd.cdb
it also chown's root.root both /var/qmail/users/assign and cdb

doing this the user works fine, can login, send/recieve email ok.

when im not root (user vpopmail) and run vadduser, it only updates the
/home/vpopmail/users/vpasswd and vpasswd.cdb, not the
/var/qmail/users/assign and cdb.

doing this the user can login and send email but not recieve email.

any ideas on what permissions should be on on the /var/qmail stuff?

tks
jim
