When you plug in an SD-card, the devices is *often* /dev/sdb1, but not
always. You can look at the last few lines of "dmesg"
after you plug the SD-card into your computer to figure it out. Also,
talk to your system management people about it.
Doing this level of thing remotely, and "blindly" is not that
productive.
