Hello Meni,
I don't know what is exact reason of the undefined references that you
see. But I can tell you that I'm able to correctly compile UHD-4.2.0.1
with manually compiled DPDK 21.11 on Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04.
As always with DPDK there's ton of difficulties on the way to set it up
and this is only one of them. You have to try harder.
As a side note: I'm able to make it work with X411. I've tried different
network cards and computers, but I'm not satisfied with the result.
Basically it works worse than with a regular network card driver and I
get constant losses of packets for streaming rates above ~25MS/s (for
10Gb link). Probably I still didn't try hard enough ;).

Piotr Krysik

Hi
I use UHD version 4.2 and x410.
So far, I have been using DPDK version 18.11. Now I'm trying to
upgrade the DPDK to version 21.11.
I have successfully installed the DPDK, However, when I compile the
UHD library I get the following error:
53%] Linking CXX executable test_pps_input
/usr/bin/ld: ../lib/libuhd.so.4.2.0: undefined reference to `lcore_config'
/usr/bin/ld: ../lib/libuhd.so.4.2.0: undefined reference to
`rte_eal_get_configuration'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Does anyone have a clue what could be causing the error?
Best regards
Meni
