I have used 10GbE on an X550-T2 and X720-D2 – still intel NICs With the X720-D2 I was able to connect to the X310 using fibre SFP+ modules at 10Gbps. A single 10GbE link is sufficient for one 200MSPS receive channel – your host processor needs to be able to utilise pretty much the entire bandwidth of the link though. Not always true.

Be mindful of attachments and embedded links. Has anyone had success with a 10GbE NIC other than the recommended Intel X520 card for the USRP-2944/X310? And, does the USRP require 2xSFP+ for 200Ms/s RX capture, or is 1x SFP+ sufficient? I only need to rx on one mboard (UBX160) but at the max sample rate. Thanks, Jack Gallegos
