hi there,
i am trying to get my GPS to work.
setup is a b210, external pll-gpsdo bg7tbl connected to a nmea0183
anteńna and a vk-172 USB-GPS-mouse.
i can get data from the usb receiver but in cgps there is no PPS and no
3D Fix.
Given that this is not the "please help me debug my GPS" mailing list
I'm not sure
that we'll be able to help you with CGPS here.
Now the question: can i activate my usrp to communicate with the
external Clock? everytime im doing uhd_usrp_probe there is a lock on the
gps. what can i do?
Does your B210 have a built-in GPS? If uhd_usrp_probe is indicating
"GPS Lock: Yes", then that
means that the *internal* GPS unit in the B210 can see enough
satellites to achieve PLL lock,
and is providing high-precision 1PPS and 10MHz internally.
If you want to use an external GPSDO unit, you'll have to disconnect the
internal GPSDO unit within
the B210, because the 10MHz reference line internally can only be
driven by a single source.
In terms of setup, when your application starts, it can use the
set_time_source() and set_clock_source()
APIs to specify "gpsdo" (for built-in gpsdo) or "external" (if you
want to connect the 10MHz and 1PPS
cables to the B210).
thanks in advance
