Hi Xavier,
Thank you very much for your answer!
I was just using the command uhd_find_devices from the terminal and the
PC did not detect anything. Sending a ping did not work either. When I
did the same by connecting just the PC without the switch, everything
worked properly.
Do you think the limit in sampling rate could affect the detection of
the USRP as well?
Thank you again!
Best regards,
Maria Jesus

Hi Maria,
What sampling rate are you having? The switch you are using is up to
100Mbps. That limits your sampling rate to 3.125Msps.
100Mbps / (16 bit/sample x 2 IQ) = 3.125MSamples/s.
Regards,
Xavier

Hi there!
I am having problems when connecting the USRP X310 to my PC via a
switch
(I am doing this as I would like to connect several USRPs
simultaneously). The connection between the PC and the USRP via
direct
Ethernet connection works perfectly but not when I connect a
switch in
between. I have been checking the manual to see if there are any
specifications for the switch but I have not found anything. The
switch
I am using is the TL-SF1008D by tp-link and maybe it is not
compatible
with the USRP.
Thank you very much in advance!
Best regards,
Maria Jesus
