Anyway, please read the console output of your application: UHD will definitely inform you that 50 kHz isn't a possible sampling rate; so fix that first by interpolation to a higher rate in your flowgraph. So, I'm pretty certain that you *have* gotten an error, but somehow it just slipped your attention.
