Hi,

The problem was solved.

It seems that I didn’t select GPSDO as source. MATLAB doesn’t allow to select
GPSDO (or I don’t know how). With GnuRadio I was able to select GPSDO and the
frequency error is now around 30 Hz in 3.75GHz.

Hello Teemu,
Have you set the B200 to use the GPSDO as the time and frequency source? Not
doing so could be the cause of the frequency offset.

Hi,

I’ve 2x USRP B210 with board mounted GPSDO (TCXO). I’m controlling the USRP’s
with MATLAB and configured the other to send CW at 3.75GHz and other to receive
with the same frequency. The radios are connected with 50cm SMA cable and 30 dB
attenuator.

I know there should be some frequency offset, however the received signal is
around 1.7 kHz off and I think that is too much. The GPSDO should provide
accuracy of 75 ppb in unlocked condition so I’m expecting to see frequency
offset maximum a few hundred Hz. Therefore, I’m asking is this normal or am I
missing something?

USRP Configuration

  *   Tx&Rx InterpolationFactor=512
  *   Tx&Rx MasterClockRate=5120000
  *   Tx Gain=55 & Rx Gain=64
