Hi Jon. First of all, you should not be using a SG1 image with the E313. All E313s contain E310s with Speed Grade 3 FPGAs.
The behavior you describe is a result of a corrupted bit in the AVR EEPROM firmware that results in the power on sequence requiring the power button to be pushed. This corruption can occur when power is abruptly removed from the device instead of powering it down cleanly. The most straightforward way to resolve this issue is to RMA your E313. The latest revision of the E313 always powers on when power is applied and ignores the state of the power button. -Robin On Sun, May 13, 2018 at 11:19 PM, liu Jong via USRP-users < usrp-users@lists.ettus.com> wrote: > Hi all, > We have two pieces of E313,the difference of them is one of them insert > sg1 imges and another insert sg3 image. > When we take DC power supply(12V) for e313,the sg1's e313 would auto > start, but for the sg3's e313,we must press power button, then e313 power on. > Is it normal? How could make auto start for sg3's e313? > > best regards > Jon > > _______________________________________________ > USRP-users mailing list > USRP-users@lists.ettus.com > http://lists.ettus.com/mailman/listinfo/usrp-users_lists.ettus.com > >
