Though I'd really like to point out that different power supplies react differently to varying load – if your power supply tends to overshoot on voltage on a load change, be a bit careful to not put a 20V spike on the input all too often. We've seen devices fail due to overstressed input caps, when the supply didn't stick too closely to its rated voltage.
