Hello This follows on from my query yesterday where I was having trouble getting Tomcat 6.0.26 to start as a Windows service on a 64 bit Windows 7 PC. Well, I have set the relevant authorities but I find that although Tomcat will start / stop via the batch files in the /bin folder, when set as a Windows service, I get a message that:
Windows could not start the service on the Local Computer. For more information review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specifc error code 0. Have you any iseas at all? The Tomcat logs display nothing when the above happens.
