Hello, When are using Tomcat 5.5.20 on a Windows 2003 SP2 Virtual Machine (for running Business Objects XI v3.1 front end) we experiencing 100 CPU utlilisation. However we have found that installing the same set up on a physical machine causes no such problem.
Looking at a few web Bulletin Boards I sense there is a probrem with the Java that this version of Tomcat uses and Virtual Machines, however if I make any changes using the default Tomcat configuration program (i.e. changing the Intial or max memory pools or the Thread stack size on the Java Tab) the service fails to start. Please could you advise on whether there is any patch, update or configiuration option that will allow it to run smoothly on the virtual machine.
