It's an Intel Core2 Duo E4500 at 2.2 GHz, running Vista Business 64 bit. Anyhow, your comment made think that ia64 is not my architecture. And indeed, version 1.1.14 of tcnative-1.dll is available for amd and x64 architectures (instead of amd and ia64 as in some previous versions). That last one did the trick or me:
