Yes, and I already told you -- Linux-repackaged versions of Tomcat are known to have wierd problems not seen with the real thing. I've seen zero problems with virtual hosts conflicting with one another. If it were me, I'd try it with a real one before wasting any more time. And *if* it fails with a fresh install, then provide a reproducible test case.
