<sarcasm>I know that it might seem "strange" but before upgrading your JVM you need to stop Tomcat, install, and then restart it.</sarcasm> Moreover, check if your configuration is "ok", for example JAVA_HOME environment variable. If you are under windows and you are using the "Monitor Tomcat" utility, check the configuration of the JVM. Antonio
