When things go wrong it is usually a good idea to assume that you have made the error rather than throwing around insults - especially when you are relying on the people you are insulting to help you. I suggest you take a look at the logs. catalina.yyyy-mm-dd.log should be illuminating. The error message for the first stack trace that appears in that file after Tomcat starts should be sufficient. When you are ready to apologise for the "tomcat is horribly broken and buggy" comment, an apology on this thread will be fine.
