This email does not have any relation with my activities in ASF and its projects. Its solely related with my marketing team in which how you get emails. If I thought that it will be a spam, would I put my email address to sender? I think no! We thought that you can benefit from this email.

Yes, it's easy enough to unsubscribe. But before I do that I need to check around and make sure I can trust the link so I'm not just feeding a spammer. I get enough 'opt-out' crap already without having trusted sources like ASF hopping on the bandwagon. If this is going to be the new norm for ASF I may have to rethink my list subscriptions.
