I do think this might be s Tomcat-Eclipse problem.  I just exited &
restarted Tomcat for the 5th time.  For some reason, however, it
started to find the class.  I don't have any faith that this will
continue to work, however.

I am going to see if there is a way to tell Eclipse to use a newer
version of Tomcat.
