In t5 though I dont see any xml based script support like in t4... with the
initialize and body tags and such... I was able to perform dynamic binded
javascript anywhere in my tml. I hope that capability init/body/parameters
makes its way into t5 soon.

I would actually prefer to code this transparent text just to have a working
example of this kind of stuff on hand.

Best regards
and thanks... KEN

Thanks Lance,

This link seemed to spell it out with usage of z-index

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1183633/can-you-overlay-a-transparent-div-on-an-image

I guess if I have transparenttext to display in my tapestry... I will render
one of these divs

and avoid alot of javascript

Best regards
and thanks... KEN

Folks,

Does anyone know how to overlay transparent text onto an image in T5 ?

If there is a quick simple way to do this in a component I would sure like to
know.

For instance... say I am modeling a house photo on a page and I want to splash
a yellow transparent overlay SOLD
