Strange. When I see errors like this the first thing I typically think is weird errors in your javascript or non-standard html. I used to run into strange bugs before because of doing non-standard html such as writing <span/> rather than <span></span>. Always use firebug or some other development verification tool to verify that your html/css/javascript etc... are valid, especially if things work in one browser but not another.
