There's no real "subscribing" to update channels per se. If you run
sa-update with no arguments it checks for updates in the
updates.spamassassin.org channel, for which a channel file comes with
every SA installation. If you create another channel file right next to
it for sought.rules.yerp.org (see
http://taint.org/2007/08/15/004348a.html for details) and run
sa-update --channel sought.rules.yerp.org
You will get the last batch that Justin generated, 2014-02-04. You can
also do the same DNS TXT record and MIRRORED.BY scavenger hunt that
sa-update does and grab the archive & signatures and check them
yourself, but that's a bit of a chore.
I wouldn't mind taking a look at 'em at least. I want to avoid the
rules becoming "dangerous" like the SARE rules.
